**About the Role** Under the guidance and support of the Multidisciplinary Team, you will deliver exceptional clinical treatment and support to individuals with a lived experience of mental illness. Managing a case load, your role extends beyond clinical responsibilities to actively cultivate and sustain collaborative partnerships with various internal and external service providers.* Foster strong therapeutic alliances with consumers and actively involve them, along with their family/carers/supporters, in comprehensive care planning and evaluation processes.* Conduct thorough assessments, deliver targeted interventions, and provide treatment for individuals with intricate mental health needs, aligning practices with local policies and strategic directions.* Contribute significantly to primary, secondary, and tertiary consultation services, actively engaging in community development, education, and establishing effective liaisons with other supportive agencies.* Clinical experience within Mental Health Services* Experience in the provision of assessment, discipline specific intervention and case management services for people with serious mental illness and complex needs and their carers* Demonstrated ability in working as part of the multi-disciplinary clinical team in promoting a standard of excellence in clinical practice. Employing the Strengths Model of Recovery-Oriented Practice, the multidisciplinary team delivers tailored clinical and therapeutic interventions to meet the specific needs of consumers with a lived experience of mental illness.* Implement the Strengths Model to empower individuals in their recovery journey, emphasising their capabilities and resilience.* Foster strong therapeutic alliances with consumers and actively involve them, along with their family/carers/supporters, in comprehensive care planning and evaluation processes.* Conduct thorough assessments, deliver targeted interventions, and provide treatment for individuals with intricate mental health needs, aligning practices with local policies and strategic directions.* Contribute significantly to primary, secondary, and tertiary consultation services, actively engaging in community development, education, and establishing effective liaisons with other supportive agencies.* Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, actively participating in discipline-specific meetings and training sessions.* Maintain high standards of clinical practice and professional conduct at all times, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of those under care.* Collaborate seamlessly within the multi-disciplinary team, supporting other care partners and ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.* Provide valuable professional supervision to staff and students (excluding P2 Psychologists), adhering to discipline regulations and fostering a culture of learning.* Uphold meticulous documentation practices in line with local policies, encompassing clinical records, outcome measures, and Client Management Interface reporting.* Ensure strict compliance with activity-based funding requirements, diligently recording daily contacts, phase of care, outcome measures, and any provided diagnoses.* A minimum of at least 2 years post qualification clinical experience within Mental Health for SW, OT and RPN* Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (all disciplines except Social Work)* RPNs - Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)* Relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health for nursing staff* Occupational Therapists - Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia* Psychologists - Registration as a psychologist under the Psychology Board of Australia. Practice endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or eligibility to enter a Clinical Psychology registrar program with the Psychology Board of Australia; or* Social Workers - An approved degree in Social Work (by the AASW) and eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
