Role Overview As the leading business lender in Australia, Business Lending is committed to supporting Australian businesses grow. The Manager, Risk and Control Advisory and Delivery, will be responsible for ensuring that new and changing products and processes are assessed, risk mitigations are identified, and the business is supported through change initiatives, issues and incidents. Your responsibilities will include Advising on opportunities to enhance the design and resiliency of business processes and compliance. Providing insightful business intelligence to accountable owners, governing forums and committees, to create transparency of risk outcomes. Leveraging business expertise and insights to make recommendations to the business for prioritisation of investments, interventions and enhancements to mitigate risk. Advising and enabling senior stakeholders to manage their risk, compliance obligations and business operations within risk appetite. Partnering with the business to prepare responses to issues, near misses, and emerging risks or threats to resilience. Advocating for and advising the business on using appropriate tools, practices and frameworks to enable execution of risk reduction and proactive risk management. Working in an agile manner and across disciplines to facilitate rapid response to issues, near misses, and emerging risks or threats to resilience. We’re interested in hearing from people who have Proven experience in risk and control advisory, governance, compliance, or similar in financial services. Insights that demonstrate a broad understanding of business context and priorities. Prior experience in a customer-facing or direct customer resolution role is ideal. A strong risk mindset capable of contributing to the growth of the business while providing strong recommendations for reducing potential risk exposure. Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
