As an Employment Mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting people living with disability, injury, or health conditions to unlock meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities. This isn’t just another job placement gig—our participants are not just a number . We listen, support, and walk beside them every step of their journey. What You’ll Do Collaborate with job seekers to uncover their strengths, skills, and employment goals. Partner with local employers and community groups to unlock inclusive work opportunities. Provide tailored pre‑employment guidance and ongoing post‑placement support. Achieve real, measurable outcomes with purpose and heart. What You’ll Bring Passion for empowering people and changing lives. Experience in employment services, customer service, or community support. Ability to juggle competing priorities, with a strong eye for detail. A real drive to meet goals—not just ticking off boxes but creating real impact . An engaging and supportive communication style. Must‑Haves The right to work in Australia (no restrictions). Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check (we can help). Ability to complete a criminal history check. A driver’s licence and access to your own car. Willingness to work across other sites within your ESA when needed. Intermediate computer skills in MS Office. Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Employment Services, Certificate III Disability Services, or similar would be considered advantageous, but are not essential.
