We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team at Gemellini Nobby Beach. Gemellini Nobby Beach is currently looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position of Chef De Partie. The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to: Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per our standards in the assigned section. Making menu suggestions. Ensure patron satisfaction & experience by delivering dishes to expectation. Monitoring stock level and assist with ordering accordingly to ensure cost-effectiveness as required. Monitoring food preservation and rotation to ensure minimal wastage. Maintaining food preparation handling and correct storage standards. Assisting and training kitchen staff in understanding dish preparation and ingredients when required. Aiding in the selection and training of kitchen staff. Managing junior staff if required. Ensuring health regulations are met at all times. Understanding the impact of overall kitchen operations and business objectives and assisting in achieving budgeted goals. Qualifications Possess at least one year of experience in a similar role. Be consistent and able to work well in a team. Be able to perform well under pressure. Knowledge of Italian cuisine (preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr
