We are looking for a Chef de Partie who has a passion for what they do and an eye for detail. You must have a fresh, clean approach to plating and presentation of dishes. The role forms part of a dynamic kitchen team and will require working knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine and fresh seafood. Ramsgate Beach House is a licensed venue open 7 days for breakfast and lunch. Key Responsibilities Ensure the quality of ingredients and dishes across the breakfast menu as well as assist with lunch service Provide support to the Head and Sous chef with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation and plating Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and order food supplies Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Liaise with head chef and managers, dieticians, kitchen and waiting staff for food prep and menu planning Demonstrate techniques and advise on cooking procedures Prepare and cook food Enforce hygiene regulations Help in training and staff hiring Ensure all HACCP requirements are met Requirements Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience All relevant and current industry certificates Up-to-date knowledge of current food trends Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure Excellent communication skills, approachable manner, and strong customer service focus Professional presentation and good grooming at all times Availability to work a 5-day roster including weekends and public holidays Full Australian working rights #J-18808-Ljbffr
