Business Development Coordinator

At ELM, we manage and support childcare services nationally. Our purpose is to create better outcomes for children, families and owners through strategic leadership, operational excellence and best practice compliance. This role plays a central part in strengthening our growth pipeline and ensuring new services transition smoothly into onboarding and hypercare. What You Will Do Manage the full new business pipeline from first enquiry through to onboarding Coordinate early qualification calls and understand prospective client needs Maintain accurate updates in Asana, our CRM and internal reporting systems Prepare capability packs, development summaries and leadership updates Support site visits and walkthroughs with Operations Managers Review building plans and development information to assess service potential Strengthen relationships with brokers, developers, and prospective and existing clients Work closely with Key Stakeholders Operations, Compliance, and Finance to ensure a seamless transition into hypercare Track early performance indicators that support forecasting and national planning Provide market insights through competitor reviews and demographic mapping Champion consistent processes that strengthen ELM’s national growth rhythm What You Bring Experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, project coordination or development support Strong understanding of the Australian childcare sector or willingness to learn quickly Ability to interpret early service information, data and plans Strong communication skills with a warm, confident and professional approach Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Comfortable working with multiple teams and managing competing prioritiesProactive and solutions focused, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities early Confident using systems such as Asana, CRM tools and Google Workspace Qualifications Certificate IV or Diploma in Business, Project Management, Marketing or a related discipline (desirable) Experience within childcare, property, development or a services-based environment (highly regarded) Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one Valid Australian driver’s licence Why Join ELM Be part of a national organisation shaping the future of Australian childcare Work within a supportive team that values trust, accountability and high performance Flexible working arrangements with genuine growth opportunities Exposure to operations, development, marketing and finance A culture built on clarity, collaboration and making a meaningful impact Success Looks Like A clear and current national growth pipeline Positive first impressions for prospective clients and partners Smooth transitions from enquiry into onboarding and hypercare Accurate reporting and strong conversion outcomes Consistent communication across all functions #J-18808-Ljbffr
