Senior Exercise Physiologist, Queensland Health Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as a Senior Exercise Physiologist and deliver high-impact, evidence-based care across diverse community settings. Leverage your clinical expertise, leadership capability and commitment to holistic wellbeing to support consumers with complex mental health and substance use needs. Multiple positions available across Logan and Bayside, with flexible full-time and part-time arrangements. You'll deliver senior‑level Exercise Physiology services across community mental health and addictions teams, supporting consumers with severe and complex needs. Working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary environment, you'll provide clinical leadership, drive quality improvement, and support junior staff. Key responsibilities include: Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based assessment, intervention and evaluation for mental health and addiction consumers. Lead and contribute to service improvement, protocol development and evidence‑based practice. Provide guidance to HP3 clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants. Maintain accurate documentation, ensure legislative compliance, and support safe, consumer‑centred care. About you: You're a clinically confident Exercise Physiologist with a passion for holistic mental health care and a strong grounding in evidence-based practice. You thrive in multidisciplinary environments and bring advanced problem‑solving capability, clear communication, and leadership maturity. You will bring: High‑level communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and manage sensitive or challenging situations. Strong clinical decision‑making and the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment. Experience mentoring junior clinicians, students, or allied health assistants. A track record of contributing to or leading quality improvement or research initiatives.
