About the Role The Infrastructure & DevOps Manager will lead the modernisation of our cloud infrastructure and delivery practices. This role will work closely with product and development teams to design, implement, and operate the platforms that power our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering for the Units/Equip product line and related mobile and web solutions. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with a focus on automation, efficiency, and enabling a modern software delivery process including the design, deployment and maintenance of scalable cloud environments in Microsoft Azure to support SaaS delivery of products, partnering with development teams to implement modern CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and environment configuration management, driving the evolution from traditional on‑premise hosting to cloud‑based, multi‑tenant, and containerised architectures. You will also be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure availability, performance, and proactive incident response, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure security controls and contribute to company‑wide cybersecurity practices in alignment with global standards, working closely with product, development, and support teams to ensure infrastructure supports business priorities, scalability, and customer expectations. Managing a team of Technical Services Representatives and Database Developers and Analysts, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members in infrastructure, deployment, and DevOps disciplines. What You Need to Have 5+ years of experience managing or implementing Azure-based infrastructure and cloud services. Experience managing and leading technical teams. A solid understanding of networking, identity management, and security principles in cloud environments. Familiarity with application monitoring, log aggregation, and alerting systems. Expertise in cloud‑native architecture & cost optimisation, pipeline design & maintenance, automated testing & deployment strategies, version‑controlled infrastructure management, containerisation & orchestration, and performance optimisation. Knowledge of Windows‑based application hosting, including IIS and SQL Server environments. Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation. Prior experience in enterprise or vertical market software environments. Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity. Strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC), such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Experience managing containerised workloads (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering. Master’s degree in IT Management, Cybersecurity, or related field (optional but advantageous).
