Commercial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing sales performance, forecasting sales trends, and managing data-driven insights to support decision-making. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, sales teams, and other departments to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies, while continuously monitoring and improving sales performance. Collect, analyse, and interpret commercial sales data from various sources Develop accurate sales forecasts by analyzing historical data, market conditions, and customer behavior. Identify emerging trends to help shape future sales strategies. Develop and maintain data models and dashboards to track key performance indicators Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and forecasting Identify areas for process improvement and implement data-driven solutions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in a business analyst role with a focus on sales performance reporting or sales analytics. Experience in the international education industry Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, etc.). Excellent understanding of sales processes, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
