This initiative helps to increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people employed in the APS, to better reflect the diversity of the Australian community. To be eligible for this role candidates must provide confirmation of their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage. We are seeking motivated and experienced Human Resource Officers to join various teams within our ATO People business area. As a Human Resource Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality Human Resource (HR) services. Working collaboratively with employees and managers across a range of ATO business areas, you will enable resolution of HR issues and contribute to workforce solutions that are both strategic and practical. Your duties Provide specialist advice and guidance across a range of moderately complex HR topics Supports others and contributes to team culture Enable business areas to make informed decisions Skills And Experience Detail oriented in reviewing and recording information Shares knowledge and adapts to change Balances competing priorities Builds strong professional relationships and communicates well with others A recognised qualification in Human Resource Management or related area is highly regarded but not essential.
