The Role: As our new Field Safety Advisor , you won’t just tick boxes – you’ll drive real change and create a safer workplace for everyone. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for health, safety, environment, and quality across our operations. You’ll play a key role in improving safety performance, ensuring compliance, and rolling out innovative strategies. Your Mission: Lead and inspire teams to embrace best-practice HSEQ processes. Ensure compliance with current legislation and Wild Desert’s policies and procedures. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and resolve issues. Deliver impactful inductions, toolbox talks, and workshops that resonate with teams. Dive into incident investigations, find the root cause, and implement meaningful change. Help shape the future of safety with new strategies and projects that drive continuous improvement. What You Bring to the Table: We’re looking for a passionate safety champion who’s ready to hit the ground running. You’ll thrive in this role if you: Have exceptional communication skills and know how to inspire action. Love problem-solving and always think two steps ahead. Bring hands‑on experience with risk management and integrating HSEQ systems. Build strong relationships and know how to get people on the same page. The Essentials: Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain). National Police Clearance and Traffic History check. Training in 4WD, First Aid/CPR, Gas Test Atmospheres, and Wellsite Permit to Work (or willingness to obtain).
