We’re Yatsal Distributors — a fast-growing Australian-owned wholesale business supplying a diverse range of consumer products loved by retailers nationwide. We’re looking for a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer (or recent graduate) to join our dynamic Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience or a strong design portfolio who’s ready to bring ideas to life across print, digital, and product campaigns. What You’ll Do Design with impact: Create engaging designs for print, web, and digital platforms — from catalogues and packaging to social content and product campaigns. Collaborate and learn: Work closely with our Senior Designers and Digital Marketer to deliver creative solutions that align with brand and business goals. Support launches and campaigns: Contribute to seasonal and product launch materials, including packaging updates, photography, and promotional assets. Manage visuals: Update product imagery, website banners, and marketing materials to keep our brand fresh and consistent. Prepare files for production: Assist with artwork finalisation, print setup, and supplier-ready design files. Stay creative: Bring fresh ideas, stay curious about trends, and look for new ways to elevate our visual storytelling — including experimenting with AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency. What You’ll Bring A tertiary qualification or relevant experience in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or Digital Media. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) on Mac. A strong eye for detail, layout, and typography. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team. A genuine interest or emerging experience with AI-based creative tools (e.g. Midjourney, Firefly, or ChatGPT for ideation and image enhancement). A proactive, curious mindset — you’re keen to learn, contribute ideas, and grow. Bonus points for photography, retouching, or video editing experience.
