Responsibilities Leading the delivery of SOC services, leveraging advanced security tools and technologies. Oversee the monitoring, triaging, and investigation of security alerts and incidents, providing advanced analysis and acting as an escalation point for complex cases. Manage and coordinate incident response activities, including containment, eradication and recovery, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Develop, review, and refine incident response playbooks, workflows, and standard operating procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate potential threats within the environment. Lead the configuration, optimisation, and maintenance of security monitoring tools and technologies. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to SOC Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, internal teams and external partners, striving for mutually beneficial outcomes. Stay up to date with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices and provide thought leadership to enhance CITEC's security posture. Applications remain open for 12 months.
