Employment Type : Casual Salary : $38.56 to $40.92 inclusive of casual loading (Reflective of Relevant Award) Location : Mercy Home Care Cairns Upload with Application : Resume, cover letter and relevant qualifications Contact : Annette Berridge About the opportunity We are looking for kind, compassionate and dedicated Domestic Assistants to help our clients remain at home by providing cleaning, unescorted shopping and in‑home respite services. You will be able to work in your local community to make a difference each day. You will work with our dedicated local office team who will support you every day. Responsibilities Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, shopping and respite care. Communicate clearly and document accurately. Use a PC and digital devices to access and download information. Interact professionally with clients and their families while maintaining confidentiality. Work independently without direct supervision. Qualifications & Requirements Excellent time‑management, organisational and communication skills. Compassionate, flexible and positive approach to client care. Ability to nurture respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Proof or evidence required Current NDIS Screening Check. Current driver’s licence, reliable vehicle with registration and insurance. First Aid Certificate.
