The Role CLC is seeking to appoint a passionate, committed, and leadership‑focused Health and Physical Education teacher with strong background skills and qualifications in the coaching of Australian Rules Football (AFL) to lead the AFL Academy Program. The successful applicant will be appointed to the Teacher‑in‑Charge position of the AFL Academy Program which is aligned with the Western Australian Football Commission. The AFL Academy Program commences in for Year 8 students and then expands into other year groups in . The Western Australia Football Commission aligned academy program will deliver quality football education and competition opportunities for students at CLC to meet the strong interest that exists for AFL in our local community. This position would not only suit a passionate HPE teacher with suitable credentials in AFL, but also someone has aspirations to lead a program and develop their leadership capabilities. The successful applicant will ideally be committed to fostering positive relationships, ensuring high levels of student engagement and sustaining high expectations of success for every student regardless of their starting point. Qualifications and experience include professional knowledge, understandings and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary school AFL, Health and Physical Education curriculum. You will create environments conducive to learning and provide educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering for different student learning needs.
