Assistant Project Manager – Client Side – Industrial Projects Our client is an established and renowned consultancy offering advisory services in supply chain, property and project management. They have a diverse project portfolio spanning commercial, retail, industrial and pharmaceutical. They are now looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their client‑focused team based in Brisbane. As the Assistant Project Manager , you will be responsible for the delivery of large‑scale new build industrial projects, typically $300m+, with a high element of automation and cutting‑edge technology. Experience running jobs through the full 360 project life cycle is ideal. Potential candidates can come from a consultancy or head‑contractor background and ideally have some base‑build experience. The role places a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, verbal and written communication, client facing interactions, technical knowledge, design, and contract administration. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about construction, possesses excellent communication and client‑facing skills, and brings a positive, can‑do attitude. Responsibilities Client management and consultation Project planning / feasibility studies Design management and value engineering Procurement of construction services Cost control and cost reporting, and superintendent duties Commissioning and post‑contract duties for handover Oversight and delivery of the project Qualifications and Requirements Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience within the construction industry Proven knowledge of contract administration and base‑build construction Sound understanding of overall construction programmes and plans Ability to identify key client and builder obligations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build rapport at all levels Advanced computer literacy Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel Employment Details Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Project Management Industry: Construction This is a permanent full‑time position offering a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation that provides challenging work and potential for career progression.
