About us The Department of Government Services (DGS) wasestablishedon 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government.We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses.We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services. About the role As a Salesforce Support Developer, you will contribute to the ongoing support, administration, and enhancement of our Salesforce platform across multiple instances. This hybrid role balances strong administrative capability with some hands‑on development, allowing you to manage configurations, resolve incidents, and implement small to medium system improvements. Key Accountabilities A) Salesforce Administration and Support Manage user access, configurations, flows, validation rules, and permission sets Triage and resolve moderate-complexity issues and incidents in collaboration with the support team B) Troubleshooting and Platform Diagnostics Investigate, log and remediate errors related to Apex code, integrations, and managed packages Collaborate with senior developers to resolve technical issues C) Process Improvement and Documentation Contribute to support process improvement initiatives D) Collaboration and Communication Work closely with business and internal stakeholders to understand support needs and communicate progress About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate : Strong experience in Salesforce administration, including user setup, security, flows, and configuration management Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to automation, integrations, and managed packages Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and the ability to understand, log, and elevate code-related issues For specific responsibilities please review the attached position description.
