Having its head office in Germany INFORM specialises in Advanced Optimization Software to improve planning and operational decision making. INFORM is looking for a System Analyst Banking, Risk & Fraud to support our growing client base in Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, in this role you will be managing and customizing optimization solutions tailored to the banking industry. Responsibilities Evaluate existing ICT systems and processes used in banking and fraud detection to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities. Analyse user requirements and business specifications to determine system objectives and ensure solutions meet compliance and security standards. Propose modifications, additional components, or new systems to enhance fraud prevention, risk management, and operational efficiency. Develop functional and technical specifications for system changes, integrations, and enhancements based on stakeholder needs. Plan, organise, and coordinate system implementation projects, including resource scheduling, prioritisation, and monitoring of timelines and budgets. Configure, customise, and maintain banking and risk management applications, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to regulatory requirements. Conduct system testing and validation prior to deployment to guarantee reliability, accuracy, and security. Prepare comprehensive documentation, including system design, change requests, and operational procedures for audit and compliance purposes. Provide training and support to end-users, both onsite and remotely, to ensure successful adoption and troubleshooting of systems. Perform feasibility studies and business case analyses for proposed system changes or new implementations. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams during procurement and contract negotiations, contributing to budget planning and project scheduling. Qualifications At least 10 years of experience as data analyst Bachelor of Business Administration or similar At least an Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (ICT 60220) At least 5 years' experience as a Business Process Analyst in the Banking industry. Excellent technical skills in MS Office programmes, MS Visio, MS Project Structured working style, self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and to deadline Willingness to work across time zones and to travel within Australia and abroad Strong communication and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
