Technical Business Analyst - Banking - Data Segregation Employ Sydney, NSW A$140,000 p/a Hybrid Posted 1 day ago Technical Business Analyst - Banking Projects - Data Segregation About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to work on a data segregation project classifying and segregating structured and unstructured data. We are specifically looking for technical data analyst that has worked on data segregation projects where a bank or financial institution is segregating data. You will be responsible for researching, analysing, and documenting project requirements of this data segregation so that data can be siloed into its own structured area. This role requires a sharp eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a technical mindset to safeguard data integrity while supporting critical banking initiatives.We are seeking someone that is a technical BA in data segregation. You may have worked in bank or financial institution that has sold a division or integrated a new acquisition and integrated data. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis on data to segregate data to be isolated. Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define clear requirements. Ensure all changes are implemented on time and to budget . Assess risks and dependencies to ensure that data is categorised effectively and does not cause crashes, disruptions, or corrupt data . Maintain and validate system documentation, workflows, and test scenarios. Liaise with quality assurance and development teams to ensure smooth integration with existing systems. Provide ongoing support for post-implementation reviews and improvements. About You Proven experience as a technical Business Analyst with segregating data within the banking or financial services sector . Strong technical understanding of core banking systems and related applications. Excellent ability to analyse dependencies and identify potential risks or conflicts across programs. Skilled in documentation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder communication. Demonstrated track record in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope. Familiarity with testing, system validation, and regulatory requirements in financial services.
