The Role We’re seeking an Apparel Graphic Designer to create market‑leading licensed apparel across multiple product categories. You’ll work on‑site in a fast‑paced, highly creative environment where a fashion‑forward yet commercial mindset is essential. Reporting to: Business Manager. Location: Ashwood, VIC Company: Mitch Dowd Key Responsibilities Research key trends, silhouettes, and colour palettes; translate insights into compelling mood boards. Design storyboards and product concepts in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Create seamless yardages and placement prints suitable for a variety of apparel categories. Collaborate closely with the General Manager to develop commercial product tailored to specific retailers’ requirements. Partner with Product Development and Quality teams to troubleshoot design issues and ensure manufacturability. Prepare detailed licensor submissions and deliver scaled, production‑ready artwork for factories. As required, develop original designs/ranges aligned with current trends beyond licensed programs. About You Minimum 3 years’ experience in licensed apparel design. Strong graphic design capability with advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Sharp trend awareness and a commercial eye for what sells at major Australian retailers. Clear communicator and collaborative partner with great attention to detail.
