Classique are a South Australian family-owned and operated company that has been manufacturing and supplying high-quality custom-made kitchens and wardrobes to the retail market since 1985. We specialise in delivering high-quality bespoke kitchens, wardrobes & all types of custom-made joinery to the builders & retail markets. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our manufacturing team, specialising in bespoke cabinetmaking. This hands‑on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing people management with technical oversight — driving performance, quality and efficiency across workshop operations. Your role will be a hybrid combination of onsite service work as well as more complex cabinet‑making jobs. You will be responsible for achieving key production targets and continuously improving workflows and team productivity & moral. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and mentor cabinet makers, installers and apprentices. On‑site service work and small minor installations as required. Allocate daily tasks, set priorities and manage workflow to meet project timelines. Quality‑control inspections on all work during & prior to leaving the factory. Support team development and foster a positive, safety‑conscious workplace culture. Uphold WHS policies and always ensure safe work practices. Work closely with the Production Manager and Project Management team to ensure alignment on scheduling and resourcing. Production Oversee the manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery. Interpret technical drawings, specifications and client requirements accurately. Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed within time and budget targets. Maintain high quality standards across all stages of production. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand or Senior Cabinet Maker. Strong understanding of custom manufacturing, joinery construction and bespoke detailing. Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings and production documentation. Practical understanding of manufacturing workflows and process optimisation. Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities. Hands‑on and lead by example. Manual driver’s licence. Australian work rights are essential for this position. Familiarity with CNC machinery, panel saws and other workshop equipment.
