The successful applicant will practice as a Senior Physiotherapist and ensures practice is in accordance with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and SMHS policies and guidelines. As part of the inter-disciplinary team, provides Physiotherapy services to a diverse and complex patient caseload in a leave relief capacity across physiotherapy specialty areas using advanced physiotherapy clinical practice skills. Supports the Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department in providing supervision of level P1 and P2 Physiotherapy staff in the Physiotherapy Leave Relief area, including allocation of clinical duties. Acts as a Physiotherapy clinical consultant/resource to Physiotherapists and other health professionals and negotiates and collaborates with the managers and relevant stakeholders to support clinical service delivery and planning. Plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care.
