Location – Sydney or Melbourne preferred National strategy role managing key OEM relationships on Sales & Marketing initiatives. The Automotive Alliances Manager is responsible for the development and new business growth of our Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Joint Venture (JV) partners within Allied Credit. The position is expected to work closely with the Automotive OEMs, JV Management Teams and Sales Distribution teams in strategy planning and growth initiatives. It will be for an initial 12 months, there is a reasonable chance that it could be made permanent. What you will be doing Acting as the key contact point for assigned OEM/JV Relationships and working on new business development, along with deployment of new OEM processes. Assisting the Sales team in building relationships with OEM partnered dealers and being responsible for automotive brands achieving new business volume targets and related KPI’s. Assisting with the development of dealer incentive programs. Responsible for competitor analysis and undertaking point of difference initiatives. Assisting in the development and execution of RSM dealer training for system, product knowledge and compliance purposes. Assisting with the marketing and promotion of automotive brands, ensuring that marketing POS material and advertising is being utilised correctly. Creating and negotiating all promotion activity in assistance with Marketing Manager. Undertaking all reporting requirements to each of the Automotive OEM and JVs. Your background Background in automotive finance, with experience in a senior B2B sales/ account management role. Ideally a strong understanding of consumer and commercial retail and floorplan finance, with experience working directly with dealers and finance introducers. A proven track record in strategic relationship management, brand management and delivering sales growth. A strong understanding of consumer law as it relates to lending and insurance. A demonstrated ability to think progressively, to operate commercially and to analyse data to understand business results and inform decision making. A proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent presentation skills, including the development and delivery of proposals.
