The work’s varied across Communications cabling, Security systems, AV and Control systems - a mix of day maintenance and night project rollouts. You’ll be part of a crew that keeps essential sites running and projects delivered to spec. It’s steady, hands‑on work where the results are right there in front of you. You’ll be joining a grounded team - led by people who still know what it’s like on site and actually back their crew. Supportive, switched-on, no egos. What the work looks like It’s Data, Security, AV, and Control systems - cabling, installations, fault‑finding, UPS Maintenance, and Upgrades. You’ll be working with cloud‑based and IoT‑connected systems that link critical sites across the country, supporting essential infrastructure in various sectors. When rollout projects hit, the pace lifts - nights come in blocks, a couple of months at a time, planned properly and run tight. Then it’s back to days: service, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to keep systems running at their best. It’s steady, technical work with real variety - the kind where you can see what you’ve built, know it works, and take pride in getting it right. Who it suits You might already hold your ACMA Open Cabler registration, or you could be working towards it and ready to take the next step. Either way, this role suits someone who takes pride in neat, reliable work and wants to keep building their skills. Experience across Data, AV, Security, or IT is valuable, but curiosity and consistency matter more than titles. If you’re switched on, practical, and enjoy solving problems on the tools, you’ll fit right in. The offer $40–$46/hr + Super (depending on experience) Company vehicle + Phone Days for service, night blocks for rollouts (well‑planned, not chaos) Team lead opportunities for the right person.
