Sport & Exercise Science Students – Kickstart Your Career in OSHC Full-time Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today’s children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Are you studying a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and looking for meaningful, flexible work while you study and a potential career after you graduate? This is more than just a job — it’s hands‑on experience applying your knowledge in movement, coaching, and child development with real-world impact. We have leadership through to Coordinator and Educator roles available all across Melbourne. Part‑time anywhere from 10‑35 hours per week, or regular Casual shifts available. Apply to express interest About the Role Design and run fun, inclusive physical activities and games Help children develop fundamental movement skills and confidence in being active Support social and emotional wellbeing through structured play and teamwork Collaborate with a passionate team to create a safe and engaging environment Why this role is perfect for you ✅ Apply what you’re learning – Use your knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise prescription in practice ✅ Develop coaching skills – Gain experience in group management, behaviour support, and motivational techniques ✅ Learn to program physical activity – Tailor age‑appropriate sessions that support motor skill development and lifelong physical literacy ✅ Explore career pathways – We have career development opportunities available to work in outside of school hours care ✅ Flexible hours – Fit work around your uni timetable (before and after school shifts available) Ideal career paths for you PE teaching or school‑based sport programs Coaching and performance development Exercise physiology or physiotherapy (working with children and movement) Health promotion and community sport What You Need Currently studying a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science or have completed >Passion for working with children and encouraging active lifestyles Availability for before school (7:00–9:00am) and/or after school (2:30–6:00pm) Valid working with children check At Junior Adventures Group, child safety and child safeguarding principles are our top priorities.
