Description and Requirements This role is what every Childcare Manager dreams of This Service Manager role located at Haberfield Primary OSHCare, is to oversee a large OSHC service, lead a dedicated team, engage with the school community, and build key relationships with the school, families, and children with the support of your Regional Director. A large service with an existing team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, and Educators, this service is designed for excellence. Haberfield Primary OSHCare, where we serve a tight-knit community with up to 180 places available. Our new dedicated OSHC Hub and OSHC Room, allows us to run a split program tailored to the diverse needs of our children. Our long-standing staff are filled with enthusiasm and genuine care for the community, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment for every child. In addition to paid admin hours every week, every term you will have opportunities for professional development and staff meetings. As a part of a national company, we have centralised teams to manage administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional experiences for children and leading your team. About the role Leading a team of Coordinators and Educators, you will manage a service in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state-specific office, regular visits and mentorship from an experienced Regional Leader.The role is fulltime (38 hours per week), structured in block shifts to support work-life balance, with approximately 5.5 hours per week in direct ratio hours, along with responsibilities as an Educational Leader. Develop and facilitate an engaging, child-centered program. Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents. Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service. Ensure quality and compliance in service delivery in line with the NQF. Grow attendance to support children and families. Who are we looking for Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children in a leadership position or a similar role. Ideally minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Diploma in Children’s Services), or have completed a minimum of 2 years of full‑time study in a relevant field. Current and valid Working with Children Check, or state‑required check. Clear and professional communication.
