Role Overview UMENCO is currently recruiting a Retail Cluster Manager for a contemporary RTW brand who design considered, high quality and sustainably sourced wardrobe essentials. The Retail Cluster Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the smooth operations of the brand’s retail stores across Victoria, ensuring that each location delivers its budgeted financial targets. This includes identifying the opportunities for improvement in service, productivity and sales performance, while maintaining the highest standards of customer experience and brand presentation. This role is also responsible for upholding the company’s values through effective team leadership, consistent operational practices and ensuring that store environments reflect the brands elevated aesthetic. Central to the position is the responsibility for driving sales and business development through tailored seasonal strategies, CRM initiatives and performance management across the cluster. The Retail Cluster Manager supports store managers in achieving sales KPI’s, managing reporting and analysis of results and provides insights to the Head of Retail to inform business decisions. With a strong focus on financial accountability, the role also encompasses roster management, expense monitoring and ensuring compliance with stock security and shrinkage procedures. The position is equally dedicated to customer experience, championing the brand’s service benchmarks and building loyalty through VIP programs, personalised styling and client development activations. A key responsibility involves analysing client behaviour to refine engagement strategies and foster deeper connections between customers and the brand. Alongside customer focus, the Retail Cluster Manager plays an instrumental role in training and development, ensuring induction, onboarding and continuous training programs are effectively delivered to empower teams with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. The role requires strong leadership in motivating and coaching teams, conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive, communicative work culture across all stores. The Retail Cluster Manager oversees recruitment, wardrobe programs and team presentation standards while also ensuring all operational and compliance requirements are met. With a comprehensive understanding of the Australian fashion industry and the ability to balance commercial objectives with team development, the Retail Cluster Manager is instrumental in driving the brand’s retail success.
