About the Role We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Test Lead / Test Manager to join Planit’s team of QA professionals, leading large-scale functional testing initiatives for one of our major enterprise clients. This role sits firmly in the functional testing space, focused on delivering quality outcomes across complex end-to-end business processes. You’ll be responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating functional testing activities, overseeing test design, execution, defect management, and stakeholder reporting. You’ll guide and mentor testers within your project team, ensuring testing aligns with project timelines and client expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate functional and regression testing across multiple project streams. Define and manage test strategy, planning, scope, and execution within enterprise delivery frameworks. Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and traceability. Drive defect triage, test progress reporting, and risk management discussions. Mentor and guide junior testers, promoting best-practice test design and documentation. Ensure alignment with overall QA governance and Planit delivery standards. Experience Required 8+ years in software testing, with at least 2–3 years in a Lead or Test Management role. Strong background in functional testing, test planning, and defect management across enterprise programs. Experience leading teams in Agile and / or hybrid delivery environments. Proven ability to manage stakeholders across business and technical domains. Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills. Retail industry experience highly regarded (e.g., POS, eCommerce, or ERP testing exposure).
