Digital Transition Manager

As the Transition Manager , you will lead a major system transition project for an ASX200 business that will reshape how workforce capability, compliance, and training are managed across a large telecommunications environment. This role will lead the shift from the current workforce competency platform into a new enterprise system. Contract This is a 12 month contract paying a day rate of $ (including super). The role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, and is hybrid with 2-3 days a week in the office. What You’ll Be Doing Lead technical integration and capability data mapping between systems. Manage migration of learning content and historical competency records. Coordinate planning, testing, and cutover for a smooth, compliant go-live. Change & Stakeholder Engagement Deliver change, communication, and training plans. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure readiness. Support adoption of new processes through clear and structured communication. Governance & Reporting Ensure activities meet regulatory, contractual, and audit standards. Identify and mitigate risks. Track milestones, KPIs, and maintain audit documentation. About You Experience leading system transition / transformation projects (telecommunications or infrastructure ideal). Strong project governance, stakeholder management, and change management skills. Understanding of workforce management, compliance, training, or competency systems preferred. Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Proficient with project management / collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner).
