Read on further if you would like to join us Your Position: If you enjoy working on a range of outdoor activities, taking pride in ensuring our public parks and open spaces are maintained to a high standard and enjoy being part of a team, this role is for you. Your responsibilities will include but not belimited to: Conducting scheduled daily and weekly work programs for Parks and Open Space Mowing, edging, pruning, planting of trees/shrubs, sports field maintenance, pesticide application, weeding, tree maintenance and other general parks maintenance works Operating plant and equipment including whipper, snipper, chipper, ride-on mowers, excavator and, medium rigid vehicles Reporting all vehicle/plant problems to your team leader or mechanics staff To be successful in this role you will have: Current NSW Class MR Licence General Construction Induction Card (White Card) Traffic Controllers Certificate or willingness to obtain AQF3 Chemical Certificate or willingness to obtain Experience in the operation of ride-on mowers and other small plant (i.e., brushcutters, push mowers, edgers, blowers) Please note: A full list of accountabilities and essential criteria is located within the attached Position Description.
