Volunteer Coordinator – Aged Care Visitors Scheme Join to apply for the Volunteer Coordinator – Aged Care Visitors Scheme role at Catholic Healthcare . Location: Fully remote (WFH and travel across inner West and South East Sydney). Pay: $46.35 per hour plus superannuation. Not for profit employer – up to $18,550 tax free. Join our team under the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) and recruit, support, and retain volunteers across our programs. Day to Day Responsibilities Advertising for volunteers through variety of channels to target local groups and people Conducting interviews with potential volunteers Matching volunteers to clients according to interests, location, skills Providing induction, orientation and training prior to volunteer commencement Meeting with volunteer and client on first introduction Processing and delivering client referrals from Aged Care facilities and Care Advisors Providing regular, ongoing support for volunteers Maintaining a client/resident referral list Providing regular follow up with clients and residents Promoting ACVVS to Aged Care Providers in the region through attendance at industry events Consulting with Aged Care providers to identify clients benefiting from a volunteer visitor Providing regular and appropriate feedback to providers regarding client referrals and volunteer availability and matching Promoting Catholic Healthcare as a good place to work under ACVVS, by attending volunteer expos and direct contact Qualifications Experience working with volunteers/groups or teams (desirable but not essential) A current NDIS Worker Check and/or willingness to get one Compassion, honesty and flexibility Experience in the Aged Care and/or Community Services sector (desirable but not essential) Current driver’s license and own vehicle Effective written and oral communication skills when dealing with volunteers, clients and staff What We Offer Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax Fitness Passport discounted gym benefits Paid Parental leave Long Service leave after 5 years 40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to move A values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds #J-18808-Ljbffr
