Base pay range A$240,000.00/yr – A$280,000.00/yr Expert Legal Recruiter – In‑House, Private Practice & International Recruitment An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading Australian energy infrastructure organisation at the forefront of the renewable transition. Position Description This is a newly created position that will see you report to the Head of Legal as part of a collaborative in‑house team. This role will focus on advising major construction and infrastructure projects , including: Large‑scale renewable energy developments and related consortia projects Large‑scale battery storage projects Projects/construction tenders and related procurement activities Broader infrastructure, including data centres Beyond projects, the role will also involve advising on commercial contracts, joint ventures, corporate transactions, and occasional governance and compliance matters. You’ll work cross‑functionally with the commercial, engineering, and procurement teams and provide practical, solutions‑oriented legal advice that supports strategic delivery. Ideal Candidate 8+ years’ post‑qualification experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in‑house environment Strong background in construction and major projects law, ideally with exposure to the energy or infrastructure sector Broader experience in commercial, corporate, or procurement matters would be highly regarded Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise confidently at all levels of the business A hands‑on, pragmatic approach and a genuine interest in renewable energy and infrastructure development Contact If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and join a team with an outstanding culture, we encourage you to apply.
