Senior Planning Officer (90M ) Hobart, Australia Salary: AUD - AUD per annum Randstad are proud to partner with a well known local council to recruit an experienced Senior Planner in Southern Tasmania. About the companyThe local council has been operating for over 140 years, where they have been working to make their municipality not only great to live in, but also a destination for businesses and visitors alike. About the roleAs a Senior Planner, you will join a knowledgeable and supportive team, where you will use your expertise to complete a range of duties including but not limited to; leading and assessing a range of planning applications, producing reports, submissions and briefing notes and drafting of permit conditions. You will also be involved with leading or attending pre-lodgement meetings with developers and stakeholders to discuss proposed projects, identify potential issues, and guide them through the planning process. About youThis role will be ideal for those looking to take the next step in their career and will have a minimum of 5 years demonstrated Planning experience. You will also have experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff to achieve expected outcomes.
