Then congratulations—you might just be our new Boarding Assistant We’re Mount Hutton Pet Hospital, a small animal veterinary clinic with a cozy, well-loved boarding facility, and we’re on the lookout for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, grab a leash, and dive into the joyful chaos of pet care. This is a full-time gig —but here’s the sweet part: just 4 days a week . That means three days off to recover, relax, or de‑fur your clothes (we won’t judge). What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. More Than Just Belly Rubs) Feeding, walking, and loving on our boarding dogs and cats (sometimes other critters too—we don’t discriminate). Cleaning kennels, litter boxes, food bowls, and the occasional… surprise. Monitoring the health and behavior of each pet (you’ll become a poop‑analysis expert in no time). Giving baths, brushing coats, and occasionally dodging the world’s slipperiest wet dog. Supporting the veterinary team when needed—yes, you may be asked to help wrangle a particularly dramatic chihuahua. Keeping things organized, sanitized, and running smoothly like a well‑trained pack. What You’ll Need Animal lovers with a strong work ethic and zero fear of cleaning supplies. Someone with the stamina of a border collie and the patience of a golden retriever —this job is active, hands‑on, and involves lifting, bending, walking. Reliability. Our four‑legged guests depend on you to show up, every time. A good sense of humor (because poop happens). Bonus Points If You’ve worked in pet care before (kennels, shelters, vet clinics, etc.). You can name at least 3 types of dog poo by texture (we’re only half‑joking). You don’t mind a barking soundtrack while you work. What You’ll Get Full‑time hours packed into 4 days a week.
