About The Role As a Support Worker, you will be one of the most influential people in your client’s life. Your role will be diverse and challenging and will involve direct care for clients in settings such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centres and emergency accommodation. Your Daily Tasks Can Include Building a relationship with the people you are caring for. Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needs. Administering medication. Transporting the people in our care to and from school, day programs and appointments. Assist in the implementation of programs designed for the development of the client. Report writing. Our dedicated educational and development pathway leads you towards relevant industry qualifications: Start with completing a paid Induction programme including the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) course delivered by the nationally accredited provider. Following the successful completion of the probationary period, you can enrol in a CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services with our partnered RTO BIAE (RTO no 45241). Once enrolled you may receive up to 8 units of credit based on the satisfactory completion of the induction requirements and your performance during probation.
