Bright Steps Academy Beresfield – 2IC / Assistant Centre Director Above-award salary | 50% off childcare | Birthday leave + wellbeing day About the Role As the 2IC at our Beresfield centre, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support day-to-day operations, guide educators, and uphold compliance and quality standards. You will step into the Responsible Person role as needed and help maintain a warm, professional, and community-focused centre. Key Responsibilities Support the Centre Director in daily operations, administration, and team leadership Assist with enrolments, tours, family communication, compliance, and reporting Mentor and guide educators to deliver engaging, high-quality programs Build strong relationships with families and the local community Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture Act as Responsible Person when required About You Experience in a senior educator or leadership position within Early Childhood Education (2IC or Assistant Director experience: highly regarded) Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ECT qualification (ACECQA-approved) Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and regulatory requirements Warm, confident communicator with excellent organisational skills A people-focused leader who inspires, supports, and uplifts educators Passionate about providing safe, inclusive, and high-quality care Why Join Bright Steps Academy?
