Melbourne Asset Management Contract or Temporary Our client is a global financial institution seeking an experienced custody Client Services Manager – Asset Services on a 10-month contract in their Melbourne Office. Scope of Work The Client Services Manager will play a key role in supporting all aspects of managing the administrative and relationship needs of the firms institutional trust clients. You will respond to institutional client enquiries and coordinate client activities. This involves identifying opportunities for expanding business relationships through additional products or services and you will act as key consultant to clients. Key Responsibilities Acts as key consultant to clients, assisting in formulation of best practices, redesign of processes, evaluation and implementation of Trust and Custody services through creative ideas and problem solving Ensures overall client satisfaction by facilitating efforts of service team, coordinating resources to ensure timely deliverables and issue resolution, and effectively communicating client concerns / needs to partners Develop complete understanding of client’s business, objectives, goals, and market challenges Assists Relationship Managers in counselling clients on emerging issues, bank products / services, legal / regulatory changes, and general financial environment, translating the impact on client’s activities and banking services. Participates in development of solutions to client needs, coordinate presentations, bringing in experts when appropriate, and ensuring smooth delivery of new services Manages and enhances client profitability Travel to client locations on a selected basis where revenue and / or new business opportunities and / or servicing require a call. Required Experience Must have direct experience in asset servicing environment. Proven experience working in financial servicing / accounting fields, with a client servicing background Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Demonstrated organisational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving capability Ability to understand legal documentation (such as SLA) & provide recommendations Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Understanding of reconciliation processes Understanding of institutional payment processes To be considered for this role, you must hold Australian PR or citizenship and be located in Melbourne. #J-18808-Ljbffr
