Our aim is to be a truly inclusive, and caring school where both students and staff are supported and encouraged to flourish in the St Catherine's School environment.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and passionate Deputy Head of Junior School to join our School community from Semester 2, 2024.This position provides a wonderful opportunity to contribute significantly to the future of St Catherine’s School and the enrichment of the educational journeys of our students.The Deputy Head of Junior School plays a pivotal role within the Leadership Team. Working under the leadership of the Head of Junior School, the role will be responsible for the effective development, provision, and evaluation of the School's Education Program, and the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.The Deputy Head of Junior School will provide support in the overall administration and day to day operations of the Junior School, known as Barbreck. They will have a shared responsibility with the Head of Junior School for the management of significant areas and functions within the Junior School. They will undertake leadership roles across the Junior School to support the Head of Junior School and the strategic direction of the School overall.Operating within the wider campus and bridging the Early Learning Centre and the Senior School, this role requires a collaborative and engaging approach to working within and part of a wider community of educators, parents, carers, and students to build relationships.
