Pharmacy Technician (Grade 1 or 2) Location: University Hospital Geelong, Geelong, Victoria Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (Hours: 80 fortnightly) Job Category: Other Professionals – Pharmacy Req ID: 5522 About The Role We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill a temporary part‑time position within Barwon Health’s Pharmacy Department, based at University Hospital Geelong. You may be required to work across all three Barwon Health campuses. Responsibilities Support Outpatients and Ward Pharmacists in delivering high‑quality pharmacy services to patients. Assist in sterile and oncology preparation, HITH and outpatient services. Participate in pharmaceutical care activities, medication safety and quality use of medicines initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Current knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). Certification or completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent. Ability to work flexible part‑time hours within the stipulated fortnightly hours.
