Description Temporary part‑time Pharmacy Technician position at Barwon Health, University Hospital Geelong. 16 hours per fortnight, full time equivalent in pharmacy technician grade 1 or 2. Position available until December 2026. Key Information Employment type: Temporary Part‑Time Hours per fortnight: 16 Work location: University Hospital Geelong (may work across all three campuses) Position tenure: until December 2026 About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician you will support Outpatients Pharmacist and ward pharmacists in providing quality care to outpatients and inpatients. You will undertake technical tasks, maintain pharmacy records, and ensure safe medication dispensing. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and current knowledge of the PBS are essential. The role is temporary part‑time at a teaching hospital environment. Responsibilities Support outpatients and ward pharmacists in medication dispensing. Assist with clinical pharmacy tasks and medication safety activities. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation. Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Current knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). Valid pharmacy technician registration or eligibility to work as a technician. Evidence of 2025 influenza vaccination.
