BMG Group operates eclectic underground venues (Miss Demeanour and Brew Cafe & Wine Bar). Nestled down the graffitied laneways of Lower Burnett Lane and Rowes Lane. Our venues are located in the centre of Brisbane CBD We offer exceptional coffee, meals and alcoholic beverages in a warm and cosy environment. We operate from early in the morning till late at night, 7 days a week - meaning a variety of shifts are available for a dedicated hospitality professional. We are looking for experienced and passionate Night Supervisors & Bar Managers, who have the confidence to deliver exceptional, personalised service to our guests. Bar Manager / Night Supervisor You will need to: Attend meetings with management and team regarding operations Source and train staff to best fit the bar's needs Schedule staff in an efficient manner to best cover the demands of the customers Communicate with vendors to assure the appropriate amount of products are on hand for the forecasted demand Resolve all staff conflicts swiftly and properly Assure all transactions and banking are conducted with no variance Work shifts required to meet the needs of the bar. This may include nights, weekends and holidays Spend busy nights proactively managing customers to ensure their dining experience is the best Control costs on each shift, ensuring that daily admin is completed in a timely fashion. You will have: 4+ years in the Hospitality industry 2+ years of leadership capacity across Food & Beverage Current RSA Certifications RMLV a benefit, but not a requirement A history of running a profitable bar Knowledge of modern POS systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays Great energy, and enthusiasm for the service industry.
