In August 2022, we started on a new chapter when the Victorian State Government partnered with Aware Super, Australian Retirement Trust, and Macquarie Asset Management to operate registration and licensing services on its behalf. We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements, deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety. About the Opportunity As a Collaboration Specialist at VicRoads, you will play a pivotal role in empowering employees to work smarter and more effectively through the adoption and optimisation of collaboration platforms. This position is central to ensuring that our digital collaboration tools are reliable, secure, and continuously improved to meet evolving business needs and enhance the employee experience. You will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, partnering with business units to uplift digital literacy, drive productivity, and enable seamless workflows. The role also includes supporting the adoption of new features—such as AI—to enhance productivity and employee experience. From governance and training to integration and automation, you'll help shape how VicRoads collaborates in a modern, connected environment. About you You're a skilled Collaboration Specialist with a strong background in digital collaboration technologies and a passion for enabling people to work smarter. You bring hands‑on expertise in Microsoft 365 and related platforms, and thrive in environments that value innovation, governance, and continuous improvement. You'll thrive in this role if you: Have 3-5 years' experience in delivering and supporting collaboration technologies. Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and emerging AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot, Rovo). Have experience supporting Atlassian and other SaaS tools (e.g., DocuSign, Miro, Figma). Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Are proactive in identifying opportunities to improve collaboration, productivity, and user experience. Enjoy partnering with business units to uplift digital literacy and drive adoption of new features. Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and Agile ways of working. Exposure to Human‑Centred Design (HCD) or Service Design practices to inform solutions and improve employee experience. Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365 or Atlassian products.
