Role Overview
As Art Director in the Bastion Creative team, you’re a creative hybrid who can ideate, design, and produce art direction for campaigns. Working on a mix of brands across fashion, beauty and behaviour change. You will be responsible for the creative and production standard for client assets.
You will work alongside the Creative Director, copywriter, strategist and a broader support group of content makers, designers, producers and client service. Although you will be located in Melbourne and reporting to a Melb Creative Director you will be expected to work across briefs at a national level.
Responsibilities
Developing and executing a variety of digital media campaigns, building assets to help clients meet their vision through owned media and paid channels
Day-to-day management of art direction and implementation of campaign assets.
Execution of cross-platform social marketing campaigns to help increase client social media presence and brand
Collaborating and supporting the Creative Director to deliver social media/digital content from briefing to ideation, concepting to execution.
Identifying and sharing more efficient ways of doing things that benefit the client and team.
What You Bring
Strong folio of work.
Strong creative concepts across campaigns.
The ability to conceptualise across all channels and has a deep understanding of visual elements (eg. Layout and typography)
Experience in working with creative teams - managing digital executions from start to finish.
Proficient skills in Adobe Software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Strong experience in pre-production and post-production to include image editing/re-touching management
Ability to produce social & digital assets using design tools to deliver static images, video edits, banners, GIFs.
A strong understanding of eDM best practices, social media channels, digital ad formats and user behaviour.
Highly articulate and clear in all communications internally and externally
Strong time management skills and ability to juggle and meet tight deadlines
Can adhere to strict client design guidelines and safeguard the brand tone of voice and always look/feel
Possesses a broad range of work and experience to share with us (please supply portfolio with CV)
Strong understanding of asset creation for all channels and best practices
Has a proactive and enquiring nature, always wanting to do better and help others
Is a true team player, not afraid to get your hands dirty on a variety of tasks.
Contributes to the development of our culture by being involved and engaged in team activity.
Significant amount of industry experience.
