Telecommunications Riggers

We design, build, supply and maintain wireless, and copper networks and products for the region’s leading operators and provide infrastructure solutions for the telecommunications sector working on major rollouts on 5G, IBC, Microwave Radio, Fibre, Data, and Transmission networks. The Role If you are a Telecommunications Rigger who has experience in the telecommunications industry, this will be a great challenging opportunity. Specifically identifying and reporting to the Project Managers/Engineers. Tower pole and mast installations, maintaining, repairing and analyzing faults of telecommunication systems such as microwave, radio, in built coverage networks, telemetry, multiplexing, satellite, wireless and other communication systems. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Are a team player focused with a positive attitude to quality and EHS. Carry out rigging works in the installation of steelwork on structures, including the requirement to climb poles, rooftops, towers and masts. Work with cranes and EWP's as required to carry out works on site. Ability to use PIM testers, Line sweep tools and other relevant test equipment. Carry out microwave installations and commissioning including a comprehensive understanding of the Antenna systems involved, including installation of feeders, antennas, hyperflex cables, RRU’s and ancillary equipment. Qualifications Physical strength and agility sufficient to perform the work required (ie; climb mobile network towers) Ability to work at heights Able to travel and work in regional areas and other states Developed specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish work in a timely and professional manner A positive and enthusiastic, ‘can do’ attitude Willingness to work and contribute to a team Construction White card Rigging Licence (Basic / Intermediate / Advanced) Highly Desirable Work Safely at Heights Certificate & Tower Rescue Licence to Perform High Risk Work Competency based qualification and experience with Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) First Aid & CPR Certificate Benefits Great collaborative team Competitive salary + Super You will be strong and able, be willing to travel and be physically fit to climb and work on telecommunications structures.
