### Job Description**Our Opportunity**We are currently looking for**a Hygiene Team Member/Cleaner**to join our**Darwin site.**The **Hygiene Team Member** is an integral member of the Manufacturing team. The incumbent will make a strong contribution to a high performing production team and team culture within Goodman Fielder.**Shift patterns available:****Monday 11:00am-5:30pm****Tuesday 12:00pm-8:30pm****Wednesday 9:00am- 5:30pm****Thursday day 12:00pm-8:30pm****Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm****Key responsibilities*** Report all accidents and incidents.* Report any unsafe work areas practices.* Reduction in SI Zero LTI.* Co-operate with and participate in all programs that ensure a safe and healthier working environment, for example, legislative required training (LOTO, manual handling, noise awareness, chemical usage & handling etc)* Complete all cleaning and hygiene activities as per the site Master Cleaning and Sanitation schedule.* Keep timely and accurate records of all cleaning and sanitation activity.* Ensure cleaning activities comply with all food safety and quality procedures i.e. loose item controls, foreign material controls and Good Manufacturing Practices.* Maintain all cleaning equipment and tools i.e. floor scrubbers, high pressure cleaners, foamers, foggers to high level of operation and report any deficiencies to the Maintenance team as required.* Participate in all mandatory training relating to site Food Safety, Quality, cleaning and hygiene and chemical handling.* Ensure compliance with required Quality, GMP, BRC, Customer Specifications (e.g. Coles; Woolworths), Hygiene and Food Safety policies, standards and procedures.* Assist as required with the development of Standard Operating Procedures related to cleaning and hygiene of the plant, equipment and general plant.* Report any equipment failures to the Manufacturing or Maintenance teams where there is potential for physical contamination or potential downtime**The successful applicant will have*** The ability to trouble shoot problems* Strong verbal and written communication skills* The ability to make decisions in all types of situations* Works well in a team environmen* Self-motivated and enthusiastic* Having confined space, working at heights, processing and running plant experience will be advantageousGoodman Fielder is a leading regional food company across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.
