Overview The Role - Join our Melbourne Depot as a Transport Administrator and play a critical role in our operations. Our Administration Manager is looking for someone with the right qualities, and we're ready to invest in your training to set you up for success. Position: Administrator (Part-time) - 12-Month Maternity Leave Contract with the possibility of extension Role Focus: Manifesting Ensure smooth outbound freight operations by accurately manifesting consignments, coordinating bookings, and collaborating with teams to meet customer requirements efficiently. Rostered Hours Wednesday: 12:00 - 20:06 Thursday: 12:00 - 20:06 Friday: 12:00 - 20:06 Saturday: 09:00 - 14:06 What You Bring Multitasking - Handle a high volume of admin tasks without missing a beat Time Management - Prioritise your workload and meet tight deadlines Team Player - Collaborate with operations and driver teams to solve problems fast Problem-Solving Mindset - Quick thinking and effective decision-making Resilience & Adaptability - Ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure Excellent Communication - Work seamlessly with teams and stakeholders Industry Knowledge (Preferred, Not Essential) - Transport experience is a bonus, but we\'ll train the right candidate What You\'ll Do Customer Coordination - Be the go-to for key clients and urgent escalations Driver Debriefing - Review and process paperwork to close out daily runs Freight Bookings & Scheduling - Manage delivery slots and customer requests Operations Support - Liaise with depot staff to ensure smooth service delivery Admin & Reporting - Assist the Admin and Depot Manager with daily tasks We welcome candidates from high-intensity industries like logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and retail—even if you haven\'t worked in transport before.
