Bruce Avery Transport – South Guildford WA Bruce Avery Transport is an Australian‑owned family business specialising in linehaul freight from Perth to Darwin and servicing the regional areas. Our large client list includes major companies from all industries, including fellow transporters, mining, retail, construction, and agriculture. We have built our reputation on our ability to deliver freight within schedule, and our team of employees is the key to our success and growth. We currently have a position for an Operations Administrator to join our team in our South Guildford depot. Role This is a hands‑on operational role with alternating weekly shifts: one week starting at 7:00am, followed by a week starting at 8:30am. Finish times are dependent on freight load completion, and the later shift may require working later into the evening when operational demands require. Key Responsibilities Coordinating daily workflows to meet deadlines and ensure efficient service delivery Plan and schedule efficient delivery and pickup routes for our rigid vehicles Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met Creating and sending manifests, including accurate data entry of consignment notes and matching documentation to the correct fleet/driver Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff and administration Entering and updating freight information in our JAIX Freight Management System What you need Proven administrative transport knowledge and experience Highly organised and excellent attention to detail Strong customer service orientation with effective and professional communication skills to engage with drivers, customers, and management Ability to multi‑task and prioritise under time pressures Have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills A proactive, team‑oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt If you're ready to take the next step in your transport operations career, apply now and become part of the Bruce Avery Transport team Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
