You’ll be involved in the entire design process—from concept generation to production—creating innovative, functional, and visually refined products that align with user needs, manufacturing capabilities, and business goals. Key Responsibilities Conduct research into user needs, market trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to guide product direction and innovation. Develop design concepts using sketches, 2D layouts, and 3D CAD models across product frames, housings, and integrated components. Design products with attention to usability, ergonomics, safety, and overall user experience. Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for prototyping and production. Collaborate with engineering, production, and marketing teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and aesthetic objectives. Evaluate and specify materials and finishes for performance, sustainability, and manufacturability. Support prototype builds and testing, refining designs based on feedback and performance data. Participate in quality and manufacturability reviews (DFA/DFM) to ensure design integrity through production. Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including design revisions and technical specifications. Stay informed about new materials, digital tools, and design technologies relevant to industrial design. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Industrial Design or a closely related discipline. Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in industrial or product design. Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and prototyping methods. Strong creative, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
