About the Company A major Australian infrastructure and service organisation undergoing significant transformation, with a growing focus on transparent, future-focused sustainability and climate reporting. The Opportunity This newly created role sits at the intersection of financial reporting, climate risk, and sustainability standards. As Finance Manager – Sustainability Reporting, you will lead the integration of climate‑related risks and opportunities into group financial reporting, ensuring compliance with evolving frameworks such as AASB S2, ISSB and IFRS S2. This is a high‑impact, senior role suited to a technically strong CA with deep reporting experience, strong execution discipline, and the ability to partner across Finance, Risk, Sustainability, Legal and IT. Key Responsibilities Integrate climate‑related financial impacts into reporting processes, ensuring alignment with AASB S2 requirements. Develop sustainability and climate disclosures that are complete, accurate and aligned with broader strategic reporting. Drive audit and assurance readiness by building documentation, traceability and controls. Partner across the organisation to uplift data quality, ownership and reporting capability. Lead ESG‑related internal controls, data governance and accounting policy development. Support senior leadership and Audit & Risk Committees with reporting, insights and governance updates. Monitor regulatory trends and champion best practice across climate and sustainability reporting. About You CA qualified with 7+ years in technical accounting and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of ESG and climate standards (AASB S2 / IFRS S2 / ISSB). Skilled in stakeholder engagement, project management and navigating complex cross‑functional environments. Hands‑on, deadline‑driven operator with strong written, verbal and presentation capability. Comfortable working in evolving environments with competing priorities and imperfect data.
