Develop and implement policies, plans and procedures as required to ensure effective service delivery that meets client and business needs. Ensure the water quality monitoring program continues to meet requirements of the operating license, statutory and other requirements, such as algal contingency plans, raw and drinking water supply agreements, Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, ANZECC guidelines and emerging water quality issues. Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and regulators to ensure the timely resolution of customer, stakeholder and regulator issues relating to water monitoring / quality and the maintenance of ongoing compliance levels. Identify and address knowledge gaps relevant to the Water Quality Services team to ensure understanding of legislative and policy frameworks in which they operate. What we are looking for : Tertiary qualification or demonstrated industry experience related to field of water quality science or engineering, with demonstrated experience in the management of water quality Demonstrated ability or experience in leading a team Experience in stakeholder and regulatory management, with knowledge of integrating regulatory and customer issues Experience in risk management principles and processes Demonstrated knowledge of NSW Water Management legislation, including for water quality outcomes How we will support you : At WaterNSW, we embrace the opportunity to integrate work into our life by having full ownership of our work week.
